PKZ Logistics Group continues the successful development of its logistics services in the Czech Republic. In June this year, it took over a super-modern new facility in Syrovice (near Brno) and started a challenging implementation of a new project for its major FMCG client. After a few months of implementation and fine-tuning of complex processes, the project was gradually stabilized and today we are successfully preparing and distributing our client's goods to all multinational and domestic retail chains throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The facility with an area of over 6000m2 has a warehouse capacity of 7500 pallets and PKZ Logistics is ready to offer a spare capacity of about 1500 pallet places to some of its current or new clients.

In recent months, despite the ongoing pandemic situation, the PKZ Logistics Group has expanded its network of logistics operations by adding a consolidation centre in Bora near Tachov, close to the Czech-German border. The year 2022 has taken off at a rocket pace and in February 2022, the company is moving together with its key customers to a brand new facility within the Košice - Airport location, which is being handed over by Panattoni, a major developer operating on the industrial real estate market, in the month of February 2022. This cooperation was successful mainly because the east of Slovakia is an important region for PKZ, where it has been actively operating for several years and where it plans to further develop thanks to new opportunities. On a warehouse area of over 3,000 m2, with the possibility of further expansion, PKZ Logistics is ready to provide its partners with the superior service to which current customers are already accustomed.
New Cross-dock in Bor u Tachova

PKZ Logistics Group has been awarded its second long-term contract with a major client in the automotive sector. Preparations for the launch of the project began in August this year and the project was successfully launched in early October. The main activities of the project are the collection, consolidation and subsequent distribution of components to production plants in Europe and Africa.
The newly opened hub in Bor u Tachova, Czech Republic, is geographically well located and only 15km away from the German border. It receives components daily from over 180 suppliers in Western Europe, including the UK and Benelux countries. A reinforced team in the Czech Republic organises daily component collections from these countries followed by cross-dock in Bor. Thanks to this project, PKZ has created an efficient transport network, which it plans to further streamline with new projects.

Despite the difficult crisis year, PKZ Group managed to retain almost all of its customers and provide its services at a high quality level. The first priority was to maintain the number of job positions, which was achieved mainly thanks to the responsible approach of all employees. The PKZ Group experienced an overall decline in sales of almost 17%, which was mainly driven by a lower volume of activity from its customers. Despite this negative impact, PKZ was able to maintain a positive financial results and is currently actively working on the dynamic development of its activities and preparing the start-up of new projects.

They open up new opportunities and more efficient communication with customers through the EDI interface. In this case, our TMS information system Lori, which was successfully launched in 5 branches and provides us with a central view of the transports carried out by each of our divisions. At the end of the summer, the finance department launched the Asseco Spin ERP system, which reflects the rapidly changing world of accounting and provides us with top-class supplier support. This solution is integrated with the solution TMS, which brings us higher data consistency and transparency. The advantages of these solutions are higher productivity of systems and overall higher degree of flexibility of provided services.

Competitors from the Leisure Centre of Gorazdova (Púchov), whose long-term support for PKZ Slovakia has been supported not only materially, but also with the contribution of PKZ general manager František Komora‘s personal time, František Komora is one of the clubs main coaches.
Top medallist Michal Kunst, won the gold medal with the Slovak Open Team and in the individual competition in the koji Goju ryu he ranked among the 6 best. Mata Jancík (6th place) and Nikol Arany (7th place) were excellent in the category of kata children under 8 years. Nikol also got 4th place with the younger female team in junior kata and Viktória Rosinová achieved even bronze with the Slovakian team in this category. Sisters Viky and Terka Rosinová fought in the individual competition for 6th place, Majka Fedorová for 5th place and Tomáš Čvirik finished fourth. In kumite in category over 35 years Zuzka Revická won and helped Slovak team to win the bronze medal.
We are very pleased with their worldwide success. We are glad that we were a part of them and we will certainly continue to support them in sports performances.

Slovak Championship in karate 2018

At this year's championships of the Slovak Federation of Karate and Martial Arts in Šala competitors of CVČ ZŠ Gorazdova Púchov supported by PKZ Slovakia, were also successful.
After a few bronze medals In the youngest category of kata, Maťko Behro, Maťko Jancík and Nika Arany as a team finally won first place.
Another gold was won by Tomáš Čvirik, a successful representative of Puchov and Slovakia for many years.
Tomáš started with karate at the same age as Niky and Maťkov, and today he is the holder of the black belt. Tomas won the kobudo category with a long weapon and which confirmed his stable position.
The very last gold medal was won near the end of the tournament, when Nina Jandušíková won her age category in for girls kumite . Nina performed a remarkable performance, which hands down out performed her competitors.
Nina is one of the candidates representing Slovakia for the 2019 World Cup, where she will compete for her most valuable gold medal for Slovakia.
Viktória Rosin, who is more of a wrestler did not achieve a gold medal in kumite this time, however wining a Silver in the category kata was still most certainly valuable.

The National Logistics Conference SpeedCHAIN Slovakia is regularly organised in Slovakia since 2016. It follows the International Logistics Conference of Speed CHAIN, which is the largest expert conference in the CEE region with a 12 year history in the Czech Republic.
